Niko Home Control software upgrade 2.17

• New icons have been added to the Niko programming software, Niko Home app and Digital black. These include end-user profile icons, guestroom, sprinkler, gate, alarm and fitness room.
• You can now add room(s) to the favourites screen of the Niko Home app.
• In the programming tool, you can now re-use a switch/socket without having to de-select it, even if it has already been used elsewhere. Your device will automatically unlink the original action.
• Missed a call or have an unread notification? An indication will appear on the side of the Niko Home app icon on your smartphone.
• Clients with access control via an electronic door lock may now choose to either maintain communication with the person(s) at their door or stop the call once the door has been opened.

• Hobby API activation, partner brand activation and partner brand addressing have now been moved to the Niko Home Control programming software. As a result, only one tool is required to set up and change connectivity. Depending upon the partner brand, end-users will need a registered account for the Niko Home app and the controller or wireless hub needs to be connected to the internet when activating the link.
• Niko Home Control is now compatible with the connected heat pump systems from Vaillant, Bulex, Saunier Duval and Protherm. Users may control their compatible equipment (see list below) via Niko Home Control and the Niko Home app. For example, these compatible heat pump systems can now be included in energy saving functions, like solar mode or peak mode:

    • All systems using the myVaillant App (new)
    • All systems using the vSmart App
    • All systems using the eRelax App
  • Bulex
    • All systems using the Migo app
    • All systems using the Migo Link app (new)
  • Saunier Duval
    • All systems using the Migo app
    • All systems using the Migo Link app (new)

Troubleshooting in the diagnostics page is easier thanks to the addition of a “network connectivity” tab and a “last seen” timestamp on the Zigbee page. This facilitates diagnosis if ever a device is not reachable in the network (e.g. battery-powered Zigbee devices).

The 3-channel electricity measuring module (550-00803) is now also suitable for 3P (3 x 230V) installations.
