The black covers of Niko Hydro products are indeed made from ABS. For outdoor applications, these components are UV-stabilised to ensure they are suitable for use in outdoor environments. However, it is important to note that no black plastic is completely unaffected by prolonged exposure to intense UV radiation. If a product is exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods, slight discolouration or weathering may occur over time. This is a natural phenomenon that can occur with black plastic materials used outdoors.
