Niko Home Control Energy - How can I configure/update my tariff settings to have insights in Euro, Danish Krone, Pound Sterling?

The Home APP allows you to have insights your overall energy, gas and water consumption, based upon Euro, Danish Krone, Pound Sterling.

You can always set or update your tariff values via the Niko Home App.  Tariff updates/changes will only impact new metering information. Existing historical information will not be impacted when updating/setting new tariff values.

In case you have a multi tariff:

Check your contract/ yearly invoice to get the exact time periods for each tariff. You need this information when setting up your tariff in the home APP.

Holidays and exceptional days: you don’t have to take this into account. We will follow the tariff pace as overall defined for that week or weekend day.

Electricity consumption:
Have a look at your final yearly invoice.

Include all costs like energy costs, transportation costs, additional charges, fixed costs and taxes into the total amount you have to pay.

Divide the total consumption (mentioned in kWh) by the total amount you have to pay for that year.  If you have a multi tariff (like day/night), then calculate this per specific tariff period.

Use this number to fill in the tariff in the Home App [settings].

Electricity Injection:

Have a look at your final yearly invoice.

Include all incomes and specific injections costs like energy injection, transportation costs, additional charges, fixed costs and taxes into the total amount you receive.

Divide the total injection (mentioned in kWh) by the total amount you receive for that year.

Use this number to fill in the tariff in the Home App [settings].

 

Water consumption

Have a look at your final yearly invoice.

Include all costs like energy costs, transportation costs, additional charges, fixed costs and taxes into the total amount you have to pay.

Divide the total consumption (mentioned in m3) by the total amount you have to pay for that year.

Use this number to fill in the tariff in the Home App [settings].

Gas consumption

Have a look at your final yearly invoice.

Include all costs like energy costs, transportation costs, additional charges, fixed costs and taxes into the total amount you have to pay.

If your gas bill mentions the total consumption in kWh, your can use following conversion to calculate your consumption in m3:

On your invoice, you can find the type of gas you are using.

For low-calorific: take the total amount of kWh and divide this by 10,26 to have your gas consumption in m3.
For high-calorific: take the total amount of kWh and divide this by 10,51 to have your gas consumption in m3.

Don’t know the type of gas: take the total amount of kWh and divide this by 10,3 to have your gas consumption in m3.

Divide the total consumption (mentioned in m3) by the total amount you have to pay for that year.

Use this number to fill in the tariff in the Home App [settings].
