if you push a door lock button on your smart phone by mistake, with software version 2.0 or higher, you will be asked to confirm your operation, which gives you an opportunity to cancel the operation.

The system cannot check if the door is open or closed.
If you need to know the status of your door, you may consider installing a door sensor.
