“Our vision was immediately clear: we wanted to preserve the authenticity and soul of the farmstead while turning it into a vibrant place that connects people.”
Dina and Patrick discovered their hidden gem in 2021 and bought Domain Siliginis to life. Being protected heritage, the farmstead also required care and respect. “With love and vision, we have re-purposed the site and kept the charm of the original buildings. Every brick and every beam is part of the story, but has been supplemented with new, warm materials,” says Dina.
“We opted for modest earthy tones, soft textures and pure materials, giving you a sense of homecoming as soon as you enter. You can feel the history of the farmstead, but also the modern luxury.”

“We decided on Niko Rocker alu black brushed, Niko Toggle alu black brushed and Niko Toggle alu gold brushed. Every one of these switches complements the different rooms in their own way, contributing to the unique atmosphere. The switch design is simple and pure, without frills, and thanks to the tactile button and stylish colour, they are also unique and full of character. Within the bigger interior picture at Domain Siliginis, details are not an afterthought, but an integral design element.”
Moreover, the partnership with Niko developed very naturally. Dina’s husband is the manager of Rogge Elektrotechniek and knows the range very well. “Early on, it felt right to choose a Belgian brand that, like us, values authenticity, quality and sustainability,” says Dina.

“At Domain Siliginis, everything revolves around feeling, and that feeling is partly made possible by smart, thoughtful technology in the background. For example, dimmers in each room set the right scene, and USB connections automatically provide everyday comfort. In addition, with Niko Home Control, we can also smartly control all lighting, heating and ventilation. Energy-efficient and user-friendly for us and our guests!”
