Dimming - What are lamp profiles?

Niko dimmers have been designed to ensure that the dimming process appears as natural and pleasant as possible. Since the Niko universal dimmers can dim all lamp types, we have developed lamp profiles. Niko universal dimmers contain up to eight lamp profiles that can be set manually. A lamp profile contains specific features of the electric profile from a light source which are represented in the dim curves.
Thanks to this technology, Niko ensures an optimal and comfortable dimming experience.
