Dimming - Can I connect more than 10 LED lamps to a Niko dimmer?

Yes. This is possible because the current generation of LED lamps, primary filament lamps, generate lower current peaks during dimming than previous generations. The number of LED lamps that you can connect to a dimmer depends on the maximum electric load that the dimmer can control. Verify the maximum value in the manual of your selected dimmer.

When you have acquired LED lamps that generate higher current peaks, there could be a situation that the thermal protection of the dimmer will be triggered automatically. In this situation, try to configure the dimmer to a lamp profile with reverse phase control or reduce the number of LED lamps in the lighting circuit, or install a type or brand of LED lamps that generate lower current peaks.
