Description

The gateway connects Niko Home Control to the Internet in order to allow the use of the remote control service. This service makes it possible to securely control all Niko Home Control functions (except for access control) via the smartphone application (both Android and iPhone) or tablet application through mobile networks such as 3G, GPRS or a Wi-Fi hotspot. The gateway is connected to the Niko Home Control IP interface via an Ethernet cable equipped with an RJ45 connector. The module is separately supplied with power and has no sliding contact, which means that it can be placed anywhere in the electrical cabinet. Furthermore, the gateway has also a second RJ45 port for connection to the local router via an Ethernet cable thus establishing the Internet connection.
