The mechanism contains block-shaped silver contacts (cadmium-free) in the form of a cross and plug-in terminals with releases, to be controlled by hand or with a screwdriver. The base is made of ureumformaldehyde (UF) light grey RAL 7035. The base is highly heat resistant; it does not melt when exposed to high temperatures, as opposed to thermoplasts. All connection terminals are located at the top of the base and can contain up to 2 x 2.5 mm² of wire. The stripping length (11 mm) of the wires is indelibly imprinted on the back of the base. The combination of a socket outlet, central plate and faceplate has a protection degree IP41 and an impact-resistance degree of IP41 and IK06. Flush-mounting depth socket outlet = 18 mm. Surface-mounting height = max. 8.5 mm. CE marked. CEBEC, ÖVE, Kema, VDE and NF approved.
