Principle for conference room with dimmable daylight control in three zones, standby minimization by the detectors internal relay. HVAC and zone 4 controlled by external DALI-2-relayes. Override of lighting control with DALI-2 push button interface or by 230V push-button.

Functionalities

The installation has three zones for daylight control and one zone (zone 4) via an external relay. All luminaires in the daylight zones are equipped with DALI-2 drivers designed for dimming. All luminaires in zone 4 are equipped with standard drivers without dim.

The internal relay of the detector is used to cut power zones in order to eliminate the standby consumption for the luminaire in the daylight zones, when there is no one in the room.

An external DALI relay is used to control the ventilation system either as stand-alone in the room or by BMS. Ventilation will start automatically if the detector has registered activity for adjustable period of time and it will continue for a set time after the last person has left the room.

The light can either turn on automatically at presence or manually by operating a 230 V push-button or via DALI-2 push button interface. The light switches automatically off after a set time after the last person has left the room. It is possible to override the daylight control either via 230 V push-button or DALI push button interface.

Change of the colour temperature can be added to dimmable zones, manually change, presets or automatically (HCL), DALI-2 DT8 luminaries are required.

The solution enables wireless communication between the detector and wireless battery-free push-buttons, thus wiring to pushbuttons in e.g. glass walls or partition walls is not necessary.
