Loosen socket outlet
Loosen the socket outlet that you want to make smart from the flush-mounting box, without disconnecting the cabling.

First undo the central plate using a screwdriver.

Detach the central plate from the wall.

Then remove the finishing set from the wall using a screwdriver.
Attention: This method only applies when removing Niko switches with a square central plate (in the range since 2006).

Unscrew the existing socket outlet from the flush-mounting box and pull the socket outlet out of the wall without undoing the wiring.

Tip: Take a photo of the current wiring on which you can see which wire is connected to which clamp, making it easy for you to identify the current connection diagram.
