Appareillage - How do I control the speed of a motor (e.g. exhaust hood)?

Specific products are needed, as this type of load type has a high starting current, which the product must be able to handle for a long period of time. Legal provisions also prohibit the use of just any light dimmer.

For a continuously variable speed regulation, use the speed regulator for motors (ventilation). This regulator is meant for a maximum load of 200VA, with one precharge (motor capacity: < 40W) or two precharges (motor capacity: > 40W).

The other rotary controls with multiple positions (0-1-2 and 1-2-3) can only be used in combination with motors with multiple speeds. These have specific terminals for the different speeds.
