Dimmable daylight control in two zones; one multi zone for board lighting

Principle for classroom with dimmable daylight control in two zones + multi zone for smartboard. Override of daylight control and multi zone with a DALI-2 push button interface or by 230V push button.

Functionalities

The installation has two zones for daylight control and one multi zone for board lighting. The luminaires are equiped with DALI-2 drivers designed for dimming. Luminaires in the multi zone have a double function. They are in the daylight control and when more or less light is required on the board they can manually be controlled to a required level independently of the others luminaires in the daylight zones.

The light can either turn on automatically at presence or by actively pressing a 230 V push-button or via DALI push button interface. The light will switch off after a fixed period of time after the room has been left.

The multi zone light can only by switched on actively.

It is possible to override the daylight control either via 230 V push-button or DALI push button interface. The solution enables wireless communication between the detector and wireless and battery-free push-buttons, thus wiring to push-buttons in e.g. glass walls or partition walls is not necessary.

Change of the colour temperature can be added to dimmable zones, manually change, presets or automatically (HCL), DALI DT8 luminaries are required.
