Renovation without drilling or channelling

With small renovations, your electrical installation can often cause you problems. You take down a wall, expand the living room, etc. but what about the socket outlets and switches? Or you want an extra Internet connection in the kitchen, but do not want to deal with the drilling and channelling in the walls? The Niko surface-mounting kit and the wireless controls both provide solutions for every situation.

Wireless switching

Always one switch short? You want to add a shutter control but you do not want to drill or channel? A wireless control is the ideal solution. You glue, screw or place it anywhere you want. Niko also has wireless controls for both lighting and ventilation.

  • You want to add a switch to control the roll-down shutters.
  • You want to control the lighting from the bath or shower.
You realise that it would be handy if there was a switch in the downstairs corridor to operate the light in the upstairs hallway. This is possible! Replace the (two-way) switch with a (two-way) switch-receiver and place one or more controllers anywhere you like.
You want to enlarge the living room by taking down a wall. But, there is a switch on that wall and you still have to be able to operate the lighting? No problem. You place the switch-receiver by the lamp and place one or more controllers anywhere you like.
Niko has various remote control units in its range. These can be used to dim the lights, operate the roll-down shutters, open and close the garage door remotely, etc. 
At the moment, you have one control for each roll-down shutter. But would it not be handy if you could control all of the roll-down shutters at the same time with one controller? You can do this by simply adding a wireless control.
Switches may not be positioned close to a bath, washbasin or shower, but this requirement does not apply to wireless controls. After all, they operate at low voltage which means there is no danger of electrocution.

Niko surface-mounting kit

Do you need an extra switch, socket outlet, TV connection, etc.? The Niko surface-mounting kit is the ideal solution if your electrical installation is not adequate in the attic, in the storage area or in the garage. Without drilling or channelling, you can add on to your installation with a surface-mounting kit.

The Niko surface-mounting kit is available in two models (single and double) and in two colours (cream and white). You can install the kit horizontally or vertically, as you choose.
All flush-mounting functions, such as TV connection, thermostat and pull-cord switch, fit in the surface-mounting kit.
All Niko surface-mounting kits are compact, but do have sufficient space for the wiring. The knockouts can be easily removed and make a perfect connection possible on base boards and moulding.
