Measure your consumption and actively save energy

Niko Home Control charts your electricity consumption per room and per device
if necessary. On the eco-display, you can see the current
and the standby power consumption at any time. This way, you know
which devices consume the most in standby mode. If you have solar panels, you can
also measure how much electricity you are producing. Going out? With one push
of the eco-button, you can automatically switch the lighting and socket
outlets off or set the ventilation and heating a degree lower. Immediately
you will see the consumption decrease. Niko Home Control helps you save
and combat waste.
Being aware of your energy consumption is more important than ever, not only for
budgetary reasons, but also to safeguard the future of our planet. Niko Home
Control enables you to monitor your gas, water and electricity consumption in detail
and to detect standby power consumption. On the eco-display, you can
see how much energy the house is consuming and how much energy the solar panels
are producing at any time. As a result you know which devices are wasting energy,
enabling you to take corrective action fast. A push of the eco-button is all
it takes to see the consumption visibly decrease.

Choose your climate
With Niko Home Control you determine the temperature on a room-per-room basis
from one central control point in your home. So you can keep it nice
and warm - or pleasantly cool - in the places where it is really needed. And, you
can fine-tune the ventilation, the sun blinds and the air conditioning to each other.
This not only ensures extra comfort, but it also saves you a pretty
penny on your energy bills.

Set your mood
Sprawled out in front of the television, curled up in the corner with the newspaper
or enjoying a cosy dinner with friends - one push of the button and you can
create just the right mood, including the appropriate lighting and
heating. However, nothing is final; all of the settings can be readjusted in the
blink of an eye. Moreover, Niko Home Control is able to dim all types of lamps,

Niko Home Control keeps you feeling secure at all times, whether
you are at home or away, as the installation integrates a number of security functions
such as presence simulation, motion detectors,
burglar alarms, panic buttons, etc. You can leave
on holiday, for example, with total peace of mind. Thanks to presence simulation,
roll-down shutters will open and close and lights will turn on and off periodically
so it looks as if there is someone at home!
With Niko Home Control, you can also switch your socket outlets on and off from
one central point, reducing the risk of fire or overheating.

Expanding your installation using wireless controls, without the need for drilling
or channelling work
You can expand your Niko Home Control installation at any time using wireless controls.
This can be very useful in rooms where drilling or channelling work is simply impossible
or not permitted, e.g. near glass sections, in solid timber, concrete, etc, or when
you are still unsure where the furniture will go.

Proper lighting is important in every home. So it is necessary to be able to
conveniently control the lighting in your home without having to actually
switch all of the switches on or off. Using Niko Home Control, you can effortlessly
switch on any light source in your home (LED, economy, halogen
and incandescent lamps) and also dim the newest energy-efficient
lamps, such as dimmable LED, economy and fluorescent lamps. And with

More comfort by incorporating external detectors
By adding external detectors to your installation that measure sunlight, wind, rain
and temperature, the energy-efficiency and comfort of your home will increase considerably.
For instance, these detectors allow you to activate sun blinds based on the amount
of sunlight entering the windows and on the wind speed detected. The sun blinds
will be lowered automatically when the indoor temperature reaches a certain point
or when too much light is entering the windows. Likewise, the sun blinds will be
raised temporarily when the wind speed detected is too strong. The ventilation system
can also be switched on and off automatically based on the quality of the air indoors,
measured by a CO2 detector.
