User software
The user software allows you to change a number of settings yourself. You can use the smartphone application to remotely operate the installation. The energy software provides a visual display of the energy consumption and production of your home.
Energy software
This software gives the resident an overview of the electricity consumption or the electricity production of his solar panels. Depending on the number of measuring modules, the consumption of specific devices or circuits is also indicated. It is possible to see the current consumption as well as the consumption history. An IP module is required to log the measurement data. The resident can also monitor the water and gas consumption if a Niko Home Control pulse counter is present. The pulse counter is connected to a gas and/or water meter with a pulse output.
Minimum PC configuration: Intel Pentium IV, 1 Gb RAM. Compatible with Windows XP SP2 and SP3, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Minimum Mac configuration: Intel Core duo, 1 Gb RAM. Compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 or a more recent version.

Smartphone application
This application can be loaded onto a smartphone. It allows you to create a central and easy-to-use control system on the smartphone. The user-friendly interface gives the resident access to all the functions of the Niko Home Control installation, such as lighting, roller blinds and gates. Also information about the electricity, gas and water consumption will be displayed on the screen.
This application can only be used indoor, i.e. within the WiFi network signal range. The system should be equipped with an IP module to connect to the WiFi router.
